Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Barcelona Design Week has to change its dates, from June 9-18 to November 17-26. The type of event will also be different, according to the situation at the moment and the authorities' recommendations.

In this 15th edition, Barcelona Design Week will be focused more than ever in the citizenship of Barcelona, the city and its districts, throughout the participation of businesses, entities, gastronomic spaces and cultural spaces.

This will be a Design Week where design will be appreciated as the biggest local talent, and we will reflect on the changes we are affronting as a society after this crisis. Xavier Marcé, Tourism and Creative Industries councillor of Barcelona city council, has stressed "the strategic significance of this sector for the city of Barcelona and the will to strengthen its potential to contribute to the transformation and recovery of the industrial network".

During the next weeks more information about the content and formats will be given so everyone can participate.
