The Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona and Barcelona Design centre have signed a collaboration agreement through which we will be Design Partners of Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) for the second consecutive year. The fair, which will be held from 5 to 8 October, will feature furniture from leading Catalan designers. In addition, they will give visibility to the Clúster Disseny community through a series of interviews that can be seen on the BNEW online channel to the studios Morillas, The Others, ÀNIMA Design and deardesign studio.

According to Blanca Sorigué, general director of the Consortium, "the collaboration with Barcelona Design Center will contribute to strengthen the position of the city of Barcelona as a center of design and engine of the new economy worldwide". On the other hand, the director of BcD Isabel Roig has pointed out that "participating as a Design Partner in this second edition of BNEW reinforces our commitment to value the local creative talent as one of the strategic axes of the new economy and its international projection".
