This space and all the material that it contains are protected by intellectual and/or industrial property rights, and the Fundación BcD is the owner (or, if appropriate, assignee), of these rights. Therefore, the users may not modify, copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, publish, create derivative works, display or in any other way transfer or commercially exploit any material included in this space, either totally or partially. Any use in the sense indicated by the user is strictly forbidden without the express written consent of the Fundación BcD. The Fundación BcD excludes, to the full extent permitted by law, any liability for damages of any kind which may be due to the services provided by third parties through the portal and, in particular, for damages which may be due to failure to comply with the legislation in force, morality and good conduct or public order, or to the lack of truthfulness of the contents disseminated by means of the services provided by third parties through the portal.

The Fundación BcD excludes, to the full extent permitted by law, any liability for damages of any kind which may be due to the presence of viruses or to the presence of other harmful elements in the services provided by third parties through the portal, and for the incorrect use of the services and of the contents by the users, or which may be due to the lack of truthfulness of the information that the users provide to other users about themselves.

The Fundación BcD reserves the right to deny or withdraw access to the portal and/or to the services, at any time and without the need for prior notification, by those users who breach these general conditions or the specific conditions which, if appropriate, are applicable.

Personal data: privacy policy

The data with which the user provides us through this space shall be subject to automated processing and shall be included on a file of the Fundación BcD, registered on the General Data Protection Register under registration code number 2031890186 (Data Protection Agency) for the purpose of keeping the user informed, by ordinary or electronic mail, about the activities related to the Fundación BCD and the world of design, and the specific activities that are carried out through the portal.

The Fundación BcD shall not process personal data of minors who are not authorized by their parents or legal guardians. If any record reveals that the user is an unauthorized minor, the Fundación BcD reserves the right to cancel the subscription.

The Fundación BcD has adopted the legally required security levels for the protection of personal data, and has installed all the technical means and measures available to it to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized access and theft of the data provided. Notwithstanding this, the user must be aware that in the Internet environment security is not infallible.

The Fundación BcD, as a general rule, shall not communicate the data with which the users provide it to any other company or entity. However, if this communication of data is necessary for the Fundación BcD to provide a certain service, the user shall be informed in advance, so that they may express their opposition. Consequently, the Fundación BcD, to the full extent permitted by law, shall not be liable in relation to the information which is found outside this website. The function of the links which appear is exclusively that of informing the user about the existence of other sources of information on the Internet about a certain subject. These links do not represent an invitation or recommendation to visit them and, therefore, the Fundación BcD shall not be liable for the result obtained through the aforementioned links.

Directory of professional designers

The Fundación BcD, Barcelona Centro de Diseño, shall not be liable under any circumstance for the content of the directory and, therefore, for the truth of the data introduced by the design professionals into the directory. However, and as far as possible, the Fundación BcD shall refuse to include data with illegal content or which breach the law or public order. Under no circumstance shall the Fundación BcD and/or its employees be liable for the damages which may be caused due to the use or consultation of the online directory of professionals. The professional who introduces and/or deletes data from the online directory of designers shall be exclusively liable for these data in the directory.

The user of the online directory of professional designers undertakes to use it in accordance with the law. They likewise undertake not to use the aforementioned directory for illegal purposes of any kind.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These general conditions, in addition to the specific conditions of any of the services of this portal, are governed by Spanish law.
